The company Krones plans to replace the existing CAD system Racos with the new system ePLAN. As part of the implementation, the CAD data reconciliation with SAP will no longer take place in the existing SAP Transaction Navigator. Instead, a new tool will be developed for synchronising ePLAN data with the data in the SAP system (Sync Cockpit). Moreover, this tool should be functionally used not only for electrical engineering, but also for fluid technology in the future.
The tool should be used as SAP transaction or function component so it can be accessed both from SAP (ECC 6.0 / EHP6) and from ePLAN. Furthermore, this tool needs to do bidirectional data exchange with ePLAN in order to be able to access SAP with reading and writing data.
To give an example, in case of an order, the tool should be capable of reading out parts list data from the SAP order, import the appropriate ePLAN data, and distribute the obtained data, under certain criteria, to ALV grids, which are arranged on different riders of a Tabstrip Control. The SAP and ePLAN data, distributed in the described way, subsequently have to be reconciled per grid according to certain rules, and the reconciliation result has to be presented in tables.
In addition, per grid functionalities are required, on the one hand to edit in SAP directly with this tool and on the other hand to transfer data synchronously to ePLAN. Furthermore, the storage of the reconciliation in tables on the database has to be provided and these entries need to be taken into account when carrying out a new reconciliation.
